MASON-INSPIRED BOWIE

Mason-Inspired Bowie is located in Bowie, Maryland, and follows the Charlotte-Mason method utilizing rich literature (living-books) and nature/outdoor study.  They are a multi-subject tutorial with 2-day, 3-day and 5-day options for students ages 5 through 12.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COMMUNITY COLLEGE (PGCC) CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT PROGRAM

Prince George's Community College Concurrent Enrollment Program supports high school homeschooled students by offering them the opportunity to take concurrent community college classes thereby earning college credits which also count towards high school graduation.  Homeschool students receive a 50% tuition discount on all classes.

QUEST SPEECH AND DEBATE CLUB

Quest Speech and Debate Club, affiliated with the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (https://www.ncfca.org/ ), trains students ages 12-18 in various categories of speech and debate and offers a junior program for students ages 6-12.  Students have the opportunity to compete locally, regionally and nationally.

RIVER'S EDGE FOREST PLAY

Interview with Teece Nowell


River's Edge Forest Play, located in Southern Anne Arundel County, focuses on "Play with a Purpose."  With unstructured and unscheduled play, children ages 3 to 13 are free to explore the great outdoors during weekly meetings.  River's Edge works to cultivate the spiritual, intellectual, social, physical and emotional side of every child.

Teach Empower Advocate Learn (TEAL), located in Crofton, MD,  provides an individualized learning environment for all students (high achievers, creative learners, struggling learners, and more) in grades K - 12.   Offering reading intervention, math tutoring, standardized test prep, workshops for parents and students, and a two week summer camp for Middle School students.

UNITAS CLASSICAL CHRISTIAN COOPERATIVE

Interview with Chesed Broggi


Unitas is a twice weekly classical Christian co-op in Bowie, MD. Students in Kindergarten through Logic II (K-8th) complete their core classes at co-op Mondays and Thursdays (8:30-2PM), while tutors supply lesson plans for at home days. While parents love the support of the incredible tutors, students love the playground and sprawling green lawn where they get to work on their priorities whether swinging, kickball, or basketball.
